As part of Stockland’s commitment to creating communities that thrive now and into the future, on Sunday 15th October, Highlands Retirement Village and 13 other Stockland retirement living villages hosted a ‘Family Day’ event in support of the Stockland CARE Foundation.
The Stockland CARE Foundation aims to create a better way to live by improving the health, wellbeing and education of Australian communities.
Over 1,000 residents invited their families to join in the fun, with a range of activities for the whole family, including face painting, treasure hunts, petting zoos, magicians, craft tables and story-time. There was sausage sizzles, sandwiches, ice-creams, fairy floss and even a big birthday cake at Long Island Village, where they were also celebrating their 30th Anniversary.
Over $5,000 in donations was raised by the Villages with all proceeds going directly to do CARE Foundation partners Redkite and Touched by Olivia.
