After eight years of development, Highlands Retirement Village celebrated the construction of their final homes this month.

In 2017, the Highlands Retirement Village team added the finishing touches to the construction of our final homes. This milestone marked the village’s completion, which began development in 2009. The village is part of the award-winning Highlands residential community, which also includes a shopping centre, town homes and plenty of parkland.

“It’s great to see the village completed, providing over 55’s with affordable housing options in Melbourne’s growing north western suburbs,” said Daniel Milentijivec, Regional Development Manager Retirement Living.

Within the village, our residents have access to a Community Centre featuring a health and wellbeing centre, hair salon, indoor swimming pool, gym, media room, billiards room, plus much more! There is also a bowling green, outdoor exercise park, workshop and hobby garden, so there is always something for our residents to do to stay healthy and active. And being located inside the village, it means they can use these facilities exclusively in the comfort of their own surroundings.

Highlands now features 211 modern, independent living villas in a range of floor plans including 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom + study and 3 bedroom options. If you'd like to view our display homes, visit us at 236-238 Waterview Blvd, Craigieburn.
