On 23rd December 2019, Stockland's Long Island Retirement Village held their annual, end of year Christmas celebration called "Let's Do Lunch!"

This annual Christmas event at Stockland's Long Island Retirement Village provides the opportunity to come together as a whole community and say thank you to those who have provided support and commitment throughout the year, including village residents, village staff, the hard working committee members and volunteers.

On top of the acknowledgments, there is also a lot of fun to be had! Village staff dressed up in their Christmas finest, the tables were decorated and set with Christmas cheer and the delicious food and drinks were served and enjoyed by the 120 residents in attendance. The Christmas games and raffles were organised by the dedicated committee members and provided a lot of fun and laughs at the Christmas table.

"The Community Centre was buzzing!", the Health and Wellbeing Coordinator, Robyn Bechaz said. "A great way to end the year." she mentioned.
