Most of us love being outdoors here at Wantirna Village, enjoying our own beautiful gardens. So it’s absolutely perfect that the stunning Banksia Nursery is less than 2km from our village!
Banksia Nursery is a must-see nursery that has been a part of the community from 1964 and to this day, is operated by the same family! So, you’re in good hands here.
Whether you need Hardy Starters that are sun loving plants for the novice, Balcony & Patio for the more experienced plant enthusiasts or you’re looking to extend your collection of Indoor Plants, the fantastic team of staff are at your disposal. Tim Neville Arboretum

Within our City of Knox we have the Tim Neville Arboretum, better known as The People’s Park. Not your ordinary park, this community gem boasts accolades including the Keep Australia Beautiful Council’s award for Best Bicentennial Project and the City Pride award.
With natural open space, two lakes and a playground this parkland is filled with art from the local community and lined with trees planted from children of the local schools.
So pack a picnic and find your spot for the day, or head out for a scenic walk and some fresh air, visit the adventure garden rooms including a butterfly garden or take the grandkids for a play on the playground.
