Donate some festive cheer this season!
Stockland Baldivis is excited to be partnering with local charity; Feed it Forward Inc to deliver a food drive drop service for local families in Baldivis.
When: We will be collecting non-perishable food donations until Friday December 8.
Where: There are 4 donation points in the centre - near Woolworths, Aldi, Coles and Sushi Sushi.
Feed it Forward Inc volunteers will collect the donated items and build food hampers for local families in need this Christmas.
Together we can help bring a Merry Christmas to everyone.
About Feed it Forward Inc
Created in 2017 by a group of local grandmothers, Feed it Forward Inc formed from seeing a need to help save edible waste from landfills, whilst also helping feed those in need. They aligned with Secondbite who are in partnership with Coles nationwide and with their help, they were given over sixty Coles and Woolworths supermarkets to collect edible waste and non-perishable items. As time has passed, they have built their volunteer network to over 220 people in WA, who volunteer their time to collect and deliver the food direct to schools with breakfast clubs, daycare's, soup kitchens, refuges, the homeless, church groups, other community groups, and local families in need. Feed it Forward currently help to feed up to 12,000 families per month and save over 80,000kgs of food from landfills each month.
