Meet James from Hair Art Café

 Q. Tell us about your store.

Hair Art Café is a salon located on Settlers Ave in Baldivis. We deliver a great range of haircare products & services, including a vegan haircare range. We also have a café on premises serving coffee and food all day long. There’s no instant coffee to be seen here!

Q. What products & services do you offer?
We offer cuts, blow waves, colour, treatments & treatments including hair packages starting at $149. As of June 1st, we will be delivering Kerastase products to our client as we want to provide the best quality haircare. Our café includes all day breakfast & lunch, sweet treats like carrot cake & baklava as well as superfood smoothies and specialty roasted coffee.

Q. What do you love about your store?
Our fresh and new concept of a café and hair salon in one – you don’t see it too often but we love it!

Q. What feedback do you get from your customers?
Some of the best feedback we receive is about the buzzing atmosphere of the salon as well as how wonderful, talented and happy our staff are (and we agree!)

Q. What drives you and the team to success?
Delivering quality work to our clients and receiving great feedback from them. A positive salon experience means we have regular customers who love what we do and our people.

Q. With regard to your store type, what are customers wanting right now?
Lots of coffee and a fresh colour after being isolated due to COVID-19. A big thank you to our clients who HAVEN’T been box dying their hair at home.

Q. What new trends are you seeing?
Root shadows to eliminate a harsh foil look as well as balayage, ombre, vivid colours and pastel tones
