Centre Update - 2 July 2021 

As announced by the Queensland Government, effective from 6pm Friday 2nd July Stockland Birtinya – will transition out of lockdown allowing all retailers to open. Some restrictions will remain including that all retail outlets trade at a 1:4 metres sq capacity including all hospitality venues, inclusive of centre food court seating. Hair and Beauty Services (Hairdresser, Nail Salons, Waxing, Tanning, Massage and Spa), Entertainment Venues (Cinemas), Amusement Centres Indoor Recreation facilities (Gyms) and Libraries will all open from tomorrow.
Customers are reminded to always wear a face mask whilst in centre and maintain safe social distancing (1.5m apart), continue to practise good hygiene etiquette and check in via the QLD Government QR Code.

In line with the latest restrictions which commence at 6pm, Tuesday 29th June for South East Queensland and Townsville City LGAs, Stockland Baringa, Birtinya, Burleigh Heads and Townsville will remain open for all essential goods and services. Food and beverage retailers will be limited to provide takeaway or delivery service only. Food court seating will be closed. Hair and Beauty Services (this includes hairdressers, nail salons, waxing, tanning, massage and spas) are required to close along with entertainment venues (cinemas), amusement centres, indoor recreation facilities (gyms) and libraries.

Retailers who are not impacted by these closures can continue to operate and customers are encouraged to contact their favourite Stockland retailers for their opening hours. These restrictions are planned to ease 6pm, Friday 2nd July.
