This year Stockland Bull Creek, Baldivis, Harrisdale and Riverton are sharing some unexpected joy and helping to bring locals together for Christmas by partnering with Mission Australia to support Christmas Lunch in the Park on Christmas Day at Wellington Square, Perth.
Now in its 42nd year, the event is centered around a traditional shared Christmas lunch and designed to reach individuals with support, compassion and celebration on Christmas day.
This year, there is an expected 1,200+ attendees and 300+ volunteers.
The key aims for 2017 is to:
focus on reaching individuals experiencing homelessness, disadvantage and marginalisation so they are not alone on Christmas day.
provide every person with a traditional Christmas lunch, shared with others.
extend support beyond the event by providing essential resources.
provide all adult attendees with a Personal Care Pack.

About Mission Australia
Mission Australia is a non-denominational Christian charity that has been helping vulnerable Australians move towards independence for more than 155 years.
Every day they support people nationwide by combatting homelessness, assisting disadvantaged families and children, addressing mental health issues, fighting substance dependencies, and much more.
They're generously supported by their funders, partners and tens of thousands of everyday Australians, who make the work of our tireless volunteers and staff possible.
Together, they stand with Australians in need until they can stand for themselves.
