Monday - Braised Beef and Cherry Tomato
¼ cup of peanut oil
50g black beans (semi-dried)
½ cup Chinese cooking wine
200g sirloin steak – sliced thin
2 only brown onions – cut into wedges
1 punnet cherry tomatoes – cut in half
Pinch white pepper, light soya
1. Soak black bean in wine.
2. Mix in sliced beef and leave to marinate.
3. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pot, and add onions then beef mix.
4. Stir over medium to high heat until beef is just sealed, then add tomato and turn over twice only and serve.
5. Season with pepper and soya.
