Our stores, our stories

Behind each of your favourite stores are passionate, hardworking people who welcome you to take part in their story, every time you walk in. Here, we introduce you to the faces behind some of your favourite Stockland retailers. Learn about the history of their business, the products and services they offer and what they love about their local community.

Meet Chloe, 22 Grams Espresso

1. Tell us about your store?
We provide specialty coffee and a versatile menu which also caters to gluten free, vegetarians and vegans. The menu consists of in house baked goods and quick grab and go savoury goods.

2. How have you coped with Covid – 19 and what are you looking forward to?
We have coped reasonably well. We had to adapt our business within a fast 12 hour period taking our business from full capacity trade to only takeaway.
We are really looking forward to normality and welcoming back all of our team and customers for full capacity dining in again.

3. In regards to other cafes, what advise do you have for other retailers?
Being a small town, customer service is our main priority over everything else. People talk and they come back because of the friendly faces we have working here.

4. What is your most memorable moment in your store?
Definitely our first birthday.
We gave away free coffee all day and regulars still insisted on paying. It just made me realise how much support we had received over 12 months. It was such a fun day.

5. What motivated you?
People and coffee are my life! There’s not a day I don’t enjoy making it.
