John Schroder, CEO Commercial Property joined Gladstone Mayor Gail Sellers earlier this month to cut the ribbon celebrating the opening of a $6 million East Mall expansion at Stockland Gladstone shopping centre

, Centre Manager was excited to announce the arrival of a new food retailer, Guzman y Gomez, a Mexican Taqueria, due to open in June.
“Guzman y Gomez is an exciting, unique addition to Gladstone and the first in the region. I just know the community will embrace them with open arms,” said Amanda.
The centre was a hub of activity with 200 people lining up from 9.00am for the official opening for the public and official guests. A whole host of activities were running during the day including free face painting for the children. Sea FM broadcasted live from the centre on the day and dished out free goodie bags to the out the first 100 customers to visit them in the centre, all of which were gone in under 10 minutes!
John and Mayor Gail Sellers also spoke of the planned $160 million development of the West Mall complex with construction due to commence in October. The project will increase the centre’s retail space to approximately 45,000 square metres, including Kmart, Coles and Target as well as two mini majors, 10 café and food retailers, 4 restaurants and 101 specialty stores.
