Meet Kelly, Rockwear
1. Tell us about your store?
Rockwear was born and nurtured by one of Australia’s pioneering fitness instructors. Since, 1991 we’ve been encouraging women to harness their personal strength and live an active life on their own terms
2. What products, services or experiences do you offer?
We offer a wide range of activewear including tights, tops, sports bras, bike shorts, singlets, accessories and a maternity range. We also offer a tight and sports bra fitting service with a measuring tape to ensure that the products a customer tries on or picks are specifically tailored to their body shape and size. To comply with current restrictions, we are offering contactless fittings utilising visual and verbal communication. We hope to resume contact fittings when social distancing ends.
3. What do you love about your store?
I love my customers! We have so many loyal customers who have become my friends outside work. I also love my staff, they are amazing!
4. What feedback to you get from your customers?
Customer’s love our service because you don’t get that anywhere else. We understand our customers and quite literally shop with them in store. That they love the quality and feel of fabric. You can see a customer’s facial expression change when they touch a fabric.
5. What are some common customer questions you get?
Can I return online? Yeah of course you can, no problem! They also ask about our 2 for deals and are surprised at how much you get for your money when you shop at Rockwear.
6. What did you wish customers knew before they visited your store?
About the fact that we don’t just offer a product but also services. We received specialised training to fit sports bra’s and tights.
7. What do you love most about your job?
My crazy team who make my day not a day at work! Every day is different, there is no normal day in retail.
8. What motivates you?
To be the best that I can be. Also, wanting to be number the 1 Rockwear store.
9. What makes a great women’s activewear brand?
No judgement. Everyone belongs here. We are one big family and all on the same team!
