NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. Stockland is proud to launch their 2017 Innovate RAP this NAIDOC week.

Stockland Harrisdale is proud to announce the local recipients of our 2017 Community Grants program. Over $300,000 was awarded across Australia to groups and projects that support local activities and services aimed at building a stronger community.

Each year, National Reconciliation Week celebrates and builds on the respectful relationships shared by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians in the journey towards reconciliation. This year we celebrate significant anniversaries of two notable events; 27 May, the day the historic 1967 Referendum was carried, and 3 June, when the High Court delivered its landmark judgement in the Mabo case in 1992.

Food Revolution Day 2017 Food Revolution Day is an annual global event that celebrates good, fresh, real food. It’s a day to shout about the benefits of cooking from scratch, showing people that not only is fresh food tastier, but changing our food choices can also make us healthier and happier. Stockland and the Australian Museum are teaming up to explore our customers' fascination with Dinosaurs. A life size Tyrannosaurus rex that weighs two tonne and is eleven-metres-long will call the Australian Museum home later this year. Generously donated to the Australian Museum (AM) by National Geographic, the model that was featured in their documentary T. rex Autopsy, vividly shows what made a T. rex tick, with an up close look at its vital organs – including a giant heart. Before it reaches its new home in Sydney, Stockland and the Australian Museum are giving our customers the opportunity to enter an amazing competition where we are calling upon you to name the life-size model of the female T. rex. The best entry will win an international family trip for four from Flight Centre. ENTER HERE.
