Aboriginal Art Classes 

This year, Stockland is again a sponsor of the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize and aims to inspire the next generation of artists in Australia, and Stockland Merrylands is excited to host art classes for kids to inspire future creativity, expression and emerging artists within. Learn the art of Aboriginal painting in our interactive and fun classes, hosted by local Darug artists. Spaces are limited and bookings are essential. Classes are suitable for adults and kids aged 3+ and will require parental supervision.

Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize

Australian Art – Any Medium – All Women

The Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize is an annual prize that was launched in 2017 to advance art and opportunity for emerging and established female artists in Australia. It is the highest value professional artist prize for women in Australia. 

The three prize categories are the Professional Artist Prize of $35,000, the Emerging Artist Prize of $5,000 and the Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize of $5,000. 

Stockland is again a proud sponsor of the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize and is hosting various art events at Stockland centres across the country to promote awareness of the prize and to encourage entries, which close on Wednesday 20 March.
