Meet Tony, of George's Place Piccadilly

1. Tell us about your store

The story behind our name 'George's Place' originates from the original store named George's in 1966. Since then, we have changed our name to be inclusive with our customers as it is our customer's place. So it is our customers that make George's Place, George's Place.

2. What are some unusual customer questions you get?

Apart from our usual roles of serving customers, making coffee and cooking up dishes, we are frequently mistaken as the Centre Customer Directory. The most common question we get asked is 'where are the toilets?'

3. What do you love about our local community?

We love our customers the most as they are loyal, friendly and supportive. They are always happy to provide us with helpful feedback.

4. What motivates you?

Our customers is what motivates me each day as seeing our regular customers, meeting new people, and serving our community makes me happy.

5. What is your most memorable moment in your store?

I am thrilled to have had the opportunity to serve several politicians, football players and coaches at George's Place.

6. What's three words that describe your store?

Friendly, inviting and fast service.

7. What are some of your favourite stores in your Stockland centre?

It would have to be George's Place of course... But, all store representatives at Stockland Piccadilly are friendly and provide great service.
