Choose your own adventure and have fun with our four-part Comic Book Workshop series, led by professional comic book artist and illustrator, Marcelo Baez.
Marcelo Baez is a teacher during the school term and also creates work for children's publications. His work includes comics, magazines, posters, trading cards plus other print and online imagery. Marcelo has previously worked with many international companies including Marvel, GQ Australia, Microsoft, Men’s Health, National Geographic, Scholastic and many more. Marecelo loves teaching kids and families and has a great energy and passion for what he does.
This workshop series is recommended for kids aged 7-12 years.
Kids will learn all the skills they need to create their very own Comic Book. Marcelo’s series of fun workshops will be available from the following dates:
- Tuesday 28 September:
Workshop 1 - Basic character design and character design techniques
- Wednesday 29 September:
Workshop 2 - Delving a little further into the characters
- Thursday 30 September:
Workshop 3 - Visual storytelling and storytelling techniques
- Friday 1 October:
Workshop 4 - The final chapter. Bringing the story together
