Meet Bec and team from Direct Chemist Outlet.
Tell us about your store?
Direct Chemist Outlet offers a wide variety of products and services for all health, prescription medicines and beauty needs, at a fraction of the usual prices. We also offer on-site flu shots which, due to COVID, has been a on-going request this Winter.
As a growing chain of pharmacies, our brand was created to meet the needs of our customer requirements for the best quality service at the best possible price. Our group has since grown considerably throughout Australia with over 60 pharmacies nationwide and I absolutely love working at our Point Cook location!
What products and services do you offer?
Everything you need health, medical, beauty wise plus so much more. As well as having a daily rush at our prescriptions counter, other much loved products include make-up and beauty, vitamins and supplements, baby care, toiletry needs, fragrance and perfumes.
What drives you and your team to success?
The team and I work so efficiently and effectively together – it’s a fantastic team. The fact that we’re all on the same page with that end result being exception customer service and customer satisfaction definitely drives us all to achieve our goals.
What are some must-have items or services right now?
Right now, there is and has been a high demand for the flu shot – more so in previous years understandably. The fact that we can do this on site and usually upon request or with minimal waiting time by our friendly and qualified staff provides that convenience and ease which we really want our customers to feel.
How have you coped with COVID-19 and what are you looking forward to?
Initially, it was quite a stressful time as our pharmacy was high demand as well as having massive delays in stock, which was extremely tough as we wanted to ensure our customers received everything they needed.
I am looking forward to the new normalcy – returning to offering all of our normal services and products to our customers and not have to have limitations or zero stock in place.
What’s three words that describe your store?
Friendly, empathetic, vibrant.
