Did you know?
Not only are Kiwi Fruits a powerhouse of vitamins and minerals, they are jam packed with Vitamin C but also high in antioxidants, a good source of dietary fibre and helps in digestion.
The furry skin is actually edible – it contains a ton of fibre too.
The trick to peeling a Kiwi Fruit super quick?
The quickest way to quickly de-fuzz a Kiwi without losing any of the fruit… easy!
Cut both ends of the fruit with a knife. Then using a peeler, peel the sides, sliding the peeler gently so as not to crush the fruit.
OR, cut both ends of the fruit with a knife. Then take a spoon and gently separate flesh from peel by scooping the insides.
The best way to store Kiwi Fruit?
Always store your ripe Kiwi Fruit in the fridge and can last anywhere from between one to four weeks.
Although, if you have unripe Kiwi Fruit, pop them in a loosely closed paper bag for two to three days, avoiding direct sunlight. Once Kiwi Fruit ripens, it should be refrigerated straight away.
