Thank you to all of our customers who joined us on an Art Adventure these school holidays.
As part of our Art Adventure and in an Australian shopping centre first, Stockland Riverton introduced the ArtQuarium. ArtQuarium was an interactive digital aquarium where customers were invited to decorate their own fish and watch it come alive on the big screen. Customers could interact with the screen, make their fish move and create bubbles.
The installation was launched in conjunction with the Youth Art Exhibition. The exhibition achieved 168 entries and was based on the theme of Sustainability. The installation was launched on Saturday 23rd across two VIP sessions where we invited students who were exhibiting in the Youth Art Exhibition to be the first to try out the new technology.
A sensitive session was also held on Sunday morning for children with special needs whilst the Centre was closed. The session featured visual cue cards and was attended by a special needs specialist and teacher who was able to guide the children through the experience. The response from the parents and local support groups has been really positive.
Thank you to all of our customers who were part of this experience and congratulations to all of the exhibiting students, your work was a delightful addition to the Centre.
