The Cancer Council Qld Christmas Parade is an annual community event held each year to celebrate the arrival of Santa to Stockland Rockhampton and raise much needed funds for Cancer Council Qld.
Each year on the 2nd week of November, over 15,000 families gather around Musgrave Street to watch 40 floats descend towards Stockland Rockhampton for a free Christmas Concert.
Floats who participate in the event are made up of local schools, community groups, businesses and non for profit organisations. All proceeds raised through float registrations and donations go directly to Cancer Council Qld.
Cancer Council Qld uses the funds to support Central Queensland cancer sufferers and their families, as well as provide information and awareness to the local community.
To find out more information about this amazing event and how your business, local school or community group can participate contact Cancer Council Qld on 07 4932 8600.
