Meet Cassey, QBD the Bookstore

1. Tell us about your store?
I manage QBD the Bookstore. We sell everything from books to puzzles to kids educational items

2. What do you love about your store?
I LOVE books. So this is my dream job. I love everything about my job from the reading aspect to being able to help our customers find the right book for them to helping them discover books they would never have thought to read. I love being able to provide our customers with the ultimate shopping experience when they come into see us. I love working with my incredible team to find new ways to provide amazing customer service.

3. What are some unusual customer questions you get?
I have had several people ask if they could put their lotto numbers on

4. Do you have a funny story to share?
I think the funniest one I have was when a lovely customer came in and asked me where I keep all my latest release CDs. I had to tell him “sorry mate, I think you are better off going next door to Sanity” We both had a big chuckle as he thought he had walked into Sanity and was confused by all the books.

5. What drives you and the team to success?
Everything about retail drives us. My team and I have a genuine love for retail book selling and I believe that comes across when our customers come in. We believe whole heartily in the products we sell, the company we work for and the amazing customers we help each day. We love recommending our Book of the Month to our customers. Each team member reads it every month and we look forward to helping our customers with it.

8. What do you love about our community?
I love the enthusiasm our local community is showing in terms of getting back to reading books. I love how friendly our community is when coming in to see us and the amazing positive feedback we get day in, day out for my team and our store.
