What products, services or experiences do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of home fragrance and decor options as well as help to create gorgeous decor solutions for our customers for their homes or as gifts. We also educate our customers on how to properly take care of candles and other home fragrance items and how to get the most of the items they chose in our store.
What do you love about your store?
I love the environment and products. Working at dusk you get to learn new things about home fragrance every day and discover scents you never would’ve thought you liked but do. I also love our team as we are like a little family and coming into store is always a great experience
What feedback to you get from your customers?
We get a lot of positive feedback from our customers on our range of products in store and the variety of fragrance options. We have something for everyone, and we are always trying out and bringing in new things for people to see. We also take on board suggestions from our customers on things they want to see in store or things that they already love and want to stay.
At dusk what are customers wanting right now?
We are noticing a big increase in safe home fragrance, customers are wanting options that don’t require flames or having to remember to turn things off, that’s why we have our moodmist diffusers which don’t require any heat or open flames and are safe to use around the home for those wanting a easy safe fragrance option.
What did you wish customers know before they visited your store?
Not to be afraid to ask heaps of questions! We are here to help make your home fragrance and decor dreams come true and no questions are wrong, we love when customers ask us questions as it helps us to help them truly get the best experience in store and really find a product that’s perfect for them!
Why do you think shopping centres are important?
They help the community come together, you can come and have a coffee with a friend, go visit your favourite shops and socialize. Shopping centres are also important as getting to go into a store and look and feel the items you are buying really creates a personal experience to shopping that you just won’t get online and you get to ask the staff questions and learn more about the product you are purchasing.
What is your current role and main responsibilities?
I am the store manager so my responsibilities are around keeping the store running smoothly but mostly helping to create a perfect customer experience for our customers, my job is to ensure myself and my team are educated in candle safety and all relevant information regarding our products in store so that way we can educate our customers as well and help them get the most out of our products.
