1. Tell us about your store?
Savanas Restaurant was established in 1998 with the hopes of providing the local community with a place that encompasses family with good times and great Italian food. Over the years, Savanas Restaurant has grown into a premium restaurant that provides the freshest local ingredients, a variety of dishes, the friendliest staff and a truly unique dining experience.
2. What products, services or experiences do you offer?
Italian Cuisine with a modern Australian twist.
3. What do you love about your store?
I love the fact that all our kitchen creates most of our menu from scratch, sourcing only the finest local produce.
4. What feedback to you get from your customers?
Like us our customers are passionate about their food. That’s what happens when you’ve been trading in the same area for over 22 years. We listen and act on all feedback good and bad. In my opinion that’s what keeps customers coming back. Our most common feedback from customers is that they are so full that they can’t fit another thing in. Makes me happy 😊
6. What did you wish customers knew before they visited your store?
That we are passionate about food and quality service. We encourage our guests to tailor their meals to their liking if they so wish. Our qualified team of chefs and front staff are there to ensure our customers walk out with a smile.
7. What are some must-have items, services or experiences right now?
We’ve had a number of customers calling and begging us to re-open for our legendary chicken strips.

10. How have you coped with COVID-19 and what are you looking forward to?
We have used this time to renovate the kitchen and seating areas to ensure we adhere to the latest health guidelines. We have also implemented extra hygiene procedures to protect our staff and customers from the COVID-19 virus, such as frequent wiping of high traffic areas, updating staff processes and improved cutlery cleaning equipment to name just a few.
