Meet Blaz & Mellisa, Blaze Real Estate

1. Tell us about your store? 

Founded by multi award winning agent Blaz Dejanovic, we’re a boutique agency, not another franchise. That’s what makes the Blaze experience personal and bespoke. We’re locals, not blow-ins. We live and breathe Western Sydney, we know what makes it tick. We value authenticity, open conversation and treat people with a genuine respect that’s often surprising and always refreshing. 

Achieving the best outcome for your situation is our motivation. We put every property on its own platform and our highly successful marketing strategies ensure optimal reach and outstanding results. Every aspect of every sales and property management campaign is carefully considered and thoughtfully executed. We don’t follow the path. We blaze the trail.

2. What products services or experiences do you offer?

Our service is Real Estate, we do property management and sales. We specialize in getting premium prices for our landlords and our vendors. Our brand is reputable, quality and bespoke. We are unique because we are an independent agency not a franchise, so we can be very customer centric creating a bespoke campaign per property.

3. What drives you and the team to success?

We are a hungry young motivated group of individuals looking to do the best we can. A good business contains great people but a great business is created by extraordinary people. We are working towards being the best that we can be every single day. I genuinely care about our people and they know it, through aligned values and the power of honest hard work, we are achieving a level of service and results that is transforming our industry for the benefit of those we are lucky enough to serve.

4. What do you love about our local community?

I was born and raised in Fairfield Hospital 1988, went to Bossley Park primary school and I was actually the school captain.  Then I went to Bossley Park high school and moved overseas to Croatia to play soccer, after 6 years I returned to Australia and came back to the same area. I think that shows a level of commitment we have to the area/community and we thought what better way to give back by providing a good service where we can get our community in and out of the homes they love and deserve.

5. Why do you think shopping centres are important?

It’s a business hub for our local area. Stockland is very prominent, and has always been known for its blue chip real estate which coincides with our business plan. We are proud to be a part of the Stockland community.

6. What motivates you?

Winning motivates us all. Growth, our team, my family and being able to add value to people’s lives.

7. What’s three words that describe your store? 

Bespoke, quality and wow factor

8. How have you coped with COVID-19 and what are you looking forward to? 

Well we actually opened right in the peak of the virus, which was not ideal. However it pushed us to adapt our business very quickly and move our Auctions to be online. We are very lucky to work with the very professional Michael Garofolo from Cooley Auctions who is our chief auctioneer he really stepped up to the plate to ensure smooth transitions for our clients who were signed up to have onsite auctions to now online. We actually live streamed them from our beautiful new office which was great – however we were absolutely over the moon with the recent news moving back to onsite inspections and onsite Auctions.
