Meet Diana, MyHouse
1. Tell us about yourself?
My name Diana and I am the Store Manager of MyHouse. I have been with MyHouse for 2.5 years and I am still loving every moment of it! I joined MyHouse because it was a good opportunity, it’s a very rewarding job and I really enjoy merchandising. In my spare time, while I’m not busy managing the store, I enjoy reading, walking and doing yoga.
2. Tell us a bit more about your store?
MyHouse is an Australian homewares retailer. We have been proudly creating quality bedding and homewares for over 60 years. We offer beautiful quilt covers, sheet sets, soft furnishings, home décor and more to help you create your perfect home sanctuary. You will walk into our stores and be greeted with friendly and highly knowledgeable staff who are always ready to help you find the best solution for your home.
3. What do you love most about working for MyHouse?
What I love most about working for MyHouse is that we offer amazing products that I really love and believe in. I also love our customers – they are always wonderful! It’s always a rewarding feeling when I can help them and it’s always a big bonus when they tell me they want to visit us again!
4. What are three words your colleagues would describe you?
Easy-going, considerate, and thoughtful.
5. What are your top three MyHouse ‘must-have’ items right now?
Our Supreme Serenity Down Quilt. It is our most premium quilt and it is absolutely perfect for winter because it is so warm and incredibly soft. You won’t ever need to look for a new winter quilt again!
Our Reyne Tencel Sheet Sets. These sheets should be a staple for all beds! I i’s so soft and beautiful on the skin. You should see the “Illusion Blue” colour in real life - it is just lovely.
Also my current favourite quilt cover set, which is our Blossom Dawn Quilt Cover Set. I cannot resist gorgeous florals and beautiful, bright colours in my bedroom!
Those are the top three must-haves on my list, but there are many more products I love! You’d have to visit me and I would be happy to recommend you other must-haves!
6. What do you wish customers knew before they visited your store?
They should know that we have amazing quality products and amazing customer service! I am highly confident that they will leave the store with everything they needed (and maybe even more!). I think it really helps that there is always something for every customer in our range. In terms of customer service, what’s special is that we give them an experience when they visit us, and they will always learn something new whether that be about how to find the best quilt or some styling tips.
7. What is the most memorable moment in your store?
I believe EVERY DAY with our customers is always memorable! I love going into work and creating wonderful memories with my colleagues and our customers.
