You’ll need:

- White card or gift tags

- Brown paint

- A large paintbrush

- Large googly eyes

- A large red button or sparkly sticker

- A thin paintbrush or brown felt-tip pen

- Twine

- Wet wipes

Directions

Step 1: Use the large brush to paint the sole of your child’s foot with brown paint, making sure the entire surface (including toes!) is covered.

Step 2: Stand your child up and have him/her place their foot firmly onto the white card or gift tag. Be sure to push down on the toes so that all five are visible in the footprint. Wipe painted feet with wet wipes straight away to avoid permanent reminders of your DIY project.

Step 3: Use your thin paintbrush and more brown paint, or a brown felt-tip pen and draw on the reindeer antlers, starting at the ball of the footprint and working outwards.

Step 4: Once the paint has dried, glue on googly eyes and your reindeer’s big red nose! Your card is now ready to write on and present to your lucky friends and family.

Hot tip: You might find it easier to do a few footprints on a large sheet of card, then cut around the best result and glue it onto your card or gift tag.
