Drool worthy summer eats


Summer has well and truly commenced and with the warmer weather comes a desire to host more get-togethers! After all, it’s the ideal time for garden gatherings, grilling under the stars, and poolside soirées. But if one thing is for sure it’s that those effortless events don’t always come easy and often our culinary skills can be put to the test.


Luckily, we know a thing or two about impressing your guests with the latest and top trending summer dishes that will delight them with moreish flavour combinations! So, whether you’re looking to try your hand at a new dish or want to woo your guests, simply stay tuned as we walk you through brunch, lunch, and dinner ideas for your next do! 


It can be hard to think outside the box when it comes to breakfast options, so why not think inside the box? (Or should we say inside the pan?) Pancake casseroles and one-dish French toast is the way to go! Simply whip up some pancakes or French toast, slice them in half, pop them in the pan, and soak them in a mixture of egg, milk, and sugar overnight. When morning hits, simply place the pan in the oven until golden. 


Tip: you can never go too overboard with food presentation so be sure to top your dish with fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, and a sprinkling of icing sugar! 


Lunch soirée  

There’s no need to let the midday heat get you down when a refreshing salad is on the menu! Eating clean and green can not only lower your blood sugar and regulate cholesterol levels but it will also help you combat the heat. We recommend adding fruit to your next salad because it’s summer after all and fruit is at its best – think feta and peach couscous, mozzarella, watermelon, and mint skewers, or even pomegranate and pumpkin salad (plus it’s a great way to get the kids eating healthy)! Dinner party
