Tropical fusion icy poles

Summer’s not complete without an ice block on a hot day. But spare the kids the extra colouring and sugar with this fruit-based icy pole. The kids will love it and best of all you won’t have to worry about a tantrum from a sugar spike!

  • Time needed: 3-4 hours (including freezing time)
  • Difficulty Easy


Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups canned pineapple
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup vanilla yoghurt
  • ½ cup ice
  • ½ cup pineapple juice

Directions

  • Step 1

    Combine all ingredients and freeze into pops. You can also put them in ice trays with toothpicks for the older kids

  • Step 2

    Leave them in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight for best results!
