Fill a large pot with water, add a pinch of salt to it and let the water come to the boil over a medium heat on the stove. When the water starts to bubble add the spaghetti to the pot and cook till al dente (firm to the bite).
While the pasta is cooking, add the oil and butter to a frying pan and let them sizzle over medium heat. Roughly after 2 minutes when the oils and pan are nice and hot, add chopped onion to the pan and cook until slightly caramelised.
Stir in the salmon, pour in the white wine and bring to the boil.
Once the pasta has cooked, drain the water and add the cooked onions, salmon, milk, cooking cream and parsley and cook for a further 3 minutes.
Serve the salmon pasta and garnish with a little parsley.
