National Reconciliation Week 2019

Each year, National Reconciliation Week celebrates and builds on the respectful relationships shared by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and other Australians in the journey towards reconciliation.

The dates for NRW remain the same each year; 27 May to 3 June. These dates commemorate two significant milestones in the reconciliation journey— the successful 1967 referendum, and the High Court Mabo decision respectively.

This year’s theme is “Grounded in Truth Walk Together with Courage”.  Reconciliation Australia invite Australians from all backgrounds to contribute to our national movement towards a unified future.
