Stockland Newport, offering you the best approach to getting the work/life balance right.

Cast off from your new home in Stockland’s Newport Community, set around a 22-hectare tidal lake and into the azure blue waters of Moreton Bay. A high mast yacht will take you there, almost from your own front door, into a world of adventure and nature at its glistening best. It’s hard to believe that the premium bayside community of Newport is located just 38km from Brisbane to offer you the best approach to getting the work/life balance right. You can have one foot in the city and the other in the resort life where the emphasis is on serenity, relaxation and discovery. You could start your day with an early morning kayaking session or stand up paddle boarding as a wonderful way of cleaning out the cobwebs. How about a sunset sail, which sure beats spending the cocktail hour in a heaving city bar.

Go Island Hopping

Forget gridlock traffic and parking issues around your favourite beaches on the weekend. When you’re a part of Stockland’s Newport Community, you can access three spectacular islands including Moreton, Peel and St Helena, almost in your own backyard. Each of them offers you something special.

Moreton Island is almost composed entirely of sand with many perfect beaches including Honeymoon Bay, close to Cape Moreton, which is also an idyllic picnic spot as it’s often empty, so it’s like having your own private beach. Take an Instagram shot and your friends will think you’ve run away to Tahiti.

Moreton Bay

Peel Island has it all including dugongs, turtles and dolphins who like to kick back in the unpolluted waters around the island, while 74 birds species have been identified there. You could have your own David Attenborough moment, observing them all and getting quite close to nature. Horseshoe Bay is also a perfect place to drop anchor as it’s sheltered from the Northerly winds. You could camp overnight. These memories are priceless. Alternatively, you could go snorkelling at nearby Platypus Bay and discover an ancient shipwreck which is teeming with sea life.

Sea Turtle

St Helena Island National Park gives you an opportunity to discover Queensland’s history as it was once the state’s first penal settlement from 1867 until 1932. You could go on a guided tour or head off on a walking track where you might spot some of the migratory wading birds on the wetlands dotted throughout. The life you will be living now is both healthy and inspiring. At Stockland’s Newport Community, with its system of canals and lakes, it’s almost like having a summer experience all year round.

Newport Aerial

You could also visit Tangalooma Island, which is the gateway to Moreton Bay and is an excellent launching pad for water sports and sea life encounters.

Restore Yourself At Redcliffe

Perhaps you will also enjoy taking in the balmy air around the nearby Redcliffe Peninsula which offers a newly renovated waterfront where you can swim, browse the stalls in the fun Sunday markets or just find the perfect restaurant for waterfront dining.

Couple

Once you take the plunge by choosing a home in Stockland’s Newport Community, you’ll discover a sense of freedom and well being that’s a rite of passage into your new life.
