Summer is just around the corner and what better way to get fit and healthy than by joining the multitude of runners, walkers and pram-pushers each Saturday morning at Highland Reserve.
Located at Upper Coomera and offering a tranquil, lakeside life style, Highland Reserve is a host to the popular Coomera parkrun.
Every week, residents and locals around the surrounding area are able to enjoy a fun, free 5km timed run event. Entirely organised by volunteers, the run starts at 7am in Tallwood Park on Rose Valley Drive at Highland Reserve and takes in the beautiful natural surrounds and the community’s picturesque lake as part of the course track.
Living at Highland Reserve also offer residents a range of fun outdoor activities from an impressive array of cycling and walking paths, tennis and basketball courts to barbeque and picnic areas, playgrounds as well as 190 hectares of parks and open spaces, all designed to help residents live and maintain an active, healthy outdoor lifestyle.
Combined with a strong sense of community spirit and family-friendly environment, it is no wonder why Highland Reserve residents recorded an overall satisfaction level of 97 per cent and why the community is one of the most sought after place to call home.
