Summer Incentives New South Wales Terms and Conditions


$15,000* Australian HomeBuilder Scheme

On 29 November 2020, the Australian Government announced announced an extension to the HomeBuilder Scheme to provide eligible owner-occupiers (including first home buyers) with a grant of $15,000* to build a new home, substantially renovate an existing home or buy an off the plan home/new home. The eligible contract must be signed between 1 January 2021 and 31 March 2021 (inclusive). Find out more at https://treasury.gov.au/coronavirus/homebuilder.

$10,000* NSW First Home Owners Grant

In addition to the Federal Government HomeBuilder scheme, if you are a first home owner in New South Wales, you could be eligible for an additional $10,000* grant. For more details, visit https://www.revenue.nsw.gov.au/grants-schemes/first-home-buyer

First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme

The NSW Government has also announced that from 1 August, 2020, First Home Buyers who purchase a new home up to the value of $800,000 may be entitled to an exemption from transfer (stamp) duty. This is an increase from the previous threshold of $650,000. First Home Buyers who purchase a new home with a value of $800,000 to $1,000,000 may be eligible to a partial exemption from transfer (stamp) duty. The new transfer (stamp) duty threshold will be in place for 12 months and will apply to contracts executed from 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021*. Summer Incentives Victoria Terms and Conditions

$20,000* Off Selected Stockland Townhomes

$15,000^ Federal Homebuilder scheme

Stamp Duty Savings^

In November 2020, the Victorian Government introduced stamp duty waivers of 50% on newly built or off-the-plan residential homes worth up to $1 million, for contracts entered into between 25 November 2020 and 30 June 2021 (inclusive). Summer Incentives Queensland Terms and Conditions

$15,000* Federal Homebuilder scheme

$15,000* Queensland First Home Owners' Grant

In addition to the Federal Government HomeBuilder scheme, if you are a first home owner in Queensland, you could be eligible for an additional $15,000* grant, as well as a saving of up to $7,175* with the first home vacant land concession for transfer duty. $5,000* Regional Home Building Boost – North Shore only

The regional home building boost grant is a state government initiative to help home owners in regional Queensland into their new home sooner.  Customers purchasing land in our North Shore community may also be eligible for the additional $5,000* regional home building boost. Summer Incentives WA Terms and Conditions

$15,000 Federal Homebuilder Scheme*

The Federal Government HomeBuilder scheme is making it easier for those looking to build a new home to get onto the property ladder. A $15,000* grant could directly help families, first home buyers, upgraders and downsizers realise their goal of home ownership sooner.

$10,000 WA First Home Owner Grant*

The existing WA First Home Owners Grant (FHOG) provides $10,000* towards the cost to build a new home for Western Australian residents who have never owned residential property in Australia. Buyers must be owner occupiers with the new home being their principal place of residence for a period of 12 months. Eligible buyers can receive the FHOG in addition to the Federal Homebuilder Scheme.
