Nona Headshot 900x600

How long have you been working at Stockland for?
I have been with Stockland for over five years.

How long have you been working in the south-east corridor for?
I started my time at Stockland as a Sales Professional at Clyde's Edgebrook project back in 2017. I then moved to the Minta project in Berwick for over three years and have recently made my way back to Clyde for Evergreen.

What are your hobbies and interests?
I love anything to do with food! Specifically enjoying gathering around the dinner table with family, friends and loved ones to enjoy a tasty dish or big barbecue. I also enjoy getting out amongst nature, walking and exploring regional small towns.

What do you love about the Clyde area?
I think most people would be surprised to see the transformation Clyde has undergone in recent times. The growth in both residential communities and commercial precincts is just phenomenal. From a time when Clyde was just farms and dirt roads, to now becoming a lively and vibrant micro-city in the southeast has been really enjoyable to witness.

What’s the best advice you can offer to a First Home Buyer about to start their home buying journey?
1. It's important to have the necessary conversations with the bank, broker and your family to get an understanding of your position before you get the ball officially rolling. Once you have a feel of your position with some professional and personal assurance, you'll feel much more confident to proceed.

2. Do your homework on what is most important to you in regard to your future home. Consider the location, needs, size, budget, etc. and set realistic expectations with the information you have been provided. It's important to remember that if this is your first home, making shrewd decisions financially will pay off in the long run.

3. Once you have received sound professional and personal advice and have established a position with your new home preferences, now is the time to talk to your land sales professional (me!), and start conversations with prospective home builders. Look at floorplans, standard inclusions and which builders are currently offering promotions to help with your decision.

4. Just do it! It’s always a good time to buy your first home.

Favourite local coffee/café?
Day Dreamers Cafe is Beaconsfield, Volt Café in Clyde North and Gather at Berwick Botanic Gardens.

Why do you think prospective homebuyers should choose Evergreen?
Evergreen is going to be a community that caters to all. It will be home to comfortable amenities that will all be within walking distance. It will cater to first home buyers, families and downsizers with the proposed Clyde Regional Park, shops, restaurants, sporting and community facilities, pocket parks, primary and secondary schools all only minutes away.

What are the benefits of purchasing land?
- Save on stamp duty
- Choosing and alternating the plan to suit your needs, meaning no need to renovate
- Allows time to save more
- Brand new neighbourhood surrounded by new homes.
