Say goodbye to long bus trips and frustrating peak-hour car journeys - construction of the much-awaited Whiteman Park Station is progressing at a rapid pace!

The trainline is expected (and on track!) to become operational by late 2024, extending reach out to new stations in Morley, Noranda, Malaga and Ellenbrook. Journey times to Perth CBD will be shortened to 25 minutes, shaving 20 minutes off the current bus journey – and making rail transport more convenient than driving!

As works continue to make progress, take your first look at how the station will come to life with METRONET’s animated fly-through video

With a ground-level entrance, you’ll be greeted by a landscaped station forecourt and grassed areas, followed by two elevated train platforms. To date, 12 of the 40 beams required to complete this elevated rail structure have been installed, and will be followed by a concrete pour to complete the overhead structure.

The station is set to become a major transport hub on the brand-new METRONET Morley-Ellenbrook line, complete with modern facilities for all your daily needs. Convenient amenities including 900 parking bays and 10 bus stands will be made available, whilst a pedestrian walkway running underneath Drumpellier Drive will provide safe access to the station. For front-facing residents, the station will be reachable in just over 600m, made easier with a new signalised intersection at Youle-Dean Road.
