Our 'Community Youth Art Mural' is now complete!
Earlier in the year Stockland Baldivis held a Community Youth Art Competition inviting local High School and TAFE students in the Baldivis area to submit mural designs based on the theme "Baldivis Life", in which the winning entry would be incorporated into the final mural design to be completed by a professional artist.
Students at Tranby College, Baldivis Secondary College and Living Waters Lutheran College all took part and submitted some fantastic designs. Our judging panel was so impressed, they couldn't decide on a winner! Instead, elements from all of the entries received were incorporated into the final design produced by artist Paul Deej.
Mural artisit Paul Deej was highly involved in every stage of the project, having hosted artwork sessions with students at each of the schools. Students from the participating schools were also invited to visit Paul on site to observe and assist him in painting the mural.
