Coles Wendouree FightMND

FightMND launched their Big Freeze 7 fundraising campaign for MND research on Wednesday 12 May. With the campaign finishing on Tuesday 22 June, the results are in and we couldn't be prouder. The teams across Coles have contributed an impressive $6.78M towards Big Freeze 7 through their beanie sales and donations.

Of that amount, our Wendouree Coles raised more than $52k! With more than 800 stores located across Australia, the Wendouree was the number 1 store nationally for beanie sales. We can't thank our generous Ballarat community enough. 

The Wendouree Coles Store Manager, Sharon Germon, and her Store Support Manager, Narelle Jones, celebrated their teams effort by participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge on Wednesday. It’s amazing to see so many people in the Ballarat community supporting the organisation and proudly wearing their blue beanies!

These record-breaking funds will be invested into MND research and their next round of research grants will be announced mid-September. Thank you to everyone who supported the cause and donated generously.
