Our stores, our stories

Behind each of your favourite stores are passionate, hardworking people who welcome you to take part in their story, every time you walk in. Here, we introduce you to the faces behind some of your favourite Stockland retailers. Learn about the history of their business, the products and services they offer and what they love about their local community.

Meet Kerry, OPSM

1. Tell us about your store
At OPSM Wetherill Park we love our community and their eyes. We are a professional, caring and very friendly team. We love to hear and help our customers see what they love every day.

2. What products, services or experiences do you offer?
We have a wide selection of frames to suit everyone from Tiffany & Co, Versace, Ray Ban, Oakley to our little eyes for kids. We offer in depth eye care, working with your community Doctor and Ophthalmologists to give the best care possible.

We make sure every customer feels welcome, valued and when they leave our store, they have the knowledge on how to best look after their eyes and look, feel and see their best in their new glasses.

3. What do you love about your job?
I have always felt sight is one of the most important senses we are given. I’ve had the privilege of working for OPSM more then 20+ years and in that time, I have been able to help so many customers see what they love every day. The best part is the expression and comments customers have when they collect their glasses and they realise what they haven’t been seeing.

4. What three words that describe your store?
Professional, caring and friendly.

5. What do you love about our local community?
I love the that we have a wonderful diverse community here at Wetherill Park. Our community has so many friendly, lovely people who like to share their life stories with us.

6. What do you wish customer knew before they visit your store?
That everyone needs to have an eye test every 3 years even when they haven’t noticed any problems with their eyes. It’s better to know what is happening with your eyes before any problems occur. Despite what you may think eye tests do not hurt.
