Parking at Stockland Wetherill Park

Stockland Wetherill Park has 2,636 parking spots conveniently located on four multi-level and one outdoor car parks. These include parents with parking, disabled parking, small car spaces and motorbike spaces. Electric Vehicles and Tesla owners will be able to charge their cars for free at our two dedicated charging bays located on P1, near the Kinchin Lane entrance. 


Controlled ticketless parking is now in operation.

Stockland continues to work towards creating a better parking experience, by providing more convenient car parking for our customers.


Customers will receive their first 3 hours parking FREE, casual rates will apply after 3 hours.
FREE parking with entry after 6pm.
FREE all day parking for Mobility permit holders and Seniors.*

The controlled parking system will offer ticketless parking based on license plate recognition technology, which allows customers to drive in and out without the need of a ticket.

Q. What changes will be made to parking at Stockland Wetherill Park?

Stockland continues to work towards creating a better parking experience by making it quicker and easier for customers to park and connect with our retailers.

The car park now offers a 3 hour FREE period, the first additional half-hour will be $6 and increases up to a daily maximum of $40.

Q. I am eating dinner with the family in Kinchin Lane.  Will I have to pay for parking?

The car park will be free of charge for all customers who enter from 6.00pm

Q. I am watching a movie at Hoyts, will I have to pay for parking?

Customers will receive their 4th hour free when they present a valid Hoyts Cinema ticket. This additional hour can be redeemed by scanning your movie ticket at a pay station when validating your parking ticket.

Q. I ride a motorbike. Will I need to pay for parking?

Yes, the same parking rates apply for motorcycle parking. If you stay at the centre for longer than three hours and you don’t access any of the validation options, charges will apply. 


Q. I ride a bicycle to the centre. Will I need to pay for parking?

No charges will apply to bicycle riders.

Q. Will licence plate and credit card numbers be kept secure?
Yes. Customers credit card and payment details are managed by ADVAM.  ADVAM is a PCI compliant business and all information on how a PCI compliant entity treats credit card information can be found on the PCI website.

Collection of customers licence plate details are kept secure in line with Stockland’s Privacy Policy.

Q. Will there be staff to help in the car park?

The car park will be managed 24 hours a day by staff that can assist Stockland Wetherill Park customers. Every exit and all pay stations in the Centre will have a call button to contact a staff member for assistance.

Security will also be available in the car park 24 hours a day, as well as monitoring by an extensive CCTV system. 

 

MOBILITY AND OTHER SPECIFIC PARKING ZONES


Q. I am a Senior. Can I access free parking at Stockland Wetherill Park?

Customers with a valid Seniors Card will continue to access free parking at Stockland Wetherill Park at all times. Please visit or call our friendly customer service team for more information.


Q. What rules apply for Mobility Parking permit holders?

Free parking at Stockland Wetherill Park will be available for authorised mobility parking permit holders who have registered with our Customer Service team.

Customers with a RMS Mobility Parking permit will be able to register their vehicle for free parking at Stockland Wetherill Park by bringing their permit along with photo ID to the Customer Service desk.


Q. If my vehicle has been registered for mobility parking, but I don’t park in a disabled parking space, can I still park for free? 
Vehicles registered for mobility parking will receive free parking at Stockland Wetherill Park at all times, regardless of where in the Centre they park. 

Q. Will I need to register my mobility parking permit every time I park at Stockland Wetherill Park?

No, customers will only need to register their vehicle once, and then their number plate will be recognised by the ticketless parking system as able to access free parking, and boom gates will raise automatically. This registration will last until the expiry of the mobility parking permit. See our friendly team at the Customer Care desk to register.

Q. I ride a mobility scooter. Will I need to pay for parking?
No, you will not. Where possible, please use pedestrian entrances and exits. If you do have a larger scooter which is used on-road and you wish to exit via a car park exit, you may do so. Simply press the intercom at the gate, and our friendly team will lift the boom gate for you.

Q. I have been driven to Stockland Wetherill Park by my friend/relative / carer, can they access free parking?

Yes, please bring your mobility parking permit to the Customer Service desk, where you will be given a single use barcode. Your driver can then enter their licence plate details at any pay station (located in mall entrances) and scan the barcode to access free parking for their vehicle.


Q. How many vehicles can I register against my mobility parking permit?

Permit holders should register their primary vehicle with Customer Care.

It’s understandable that the permit holder may come to the centre with a family member / friend / carer in a different car. If that does occur, either the permit holder or the person driving them can simply come to the Customer Care desk with the permit, and they will be given a single use barcode which will give them free parking for the day.

Q. I am visiting the library or the childcare centre – where do I park? 

There are 12 spaces adjacent to library that will be dedicated to library users only and 22 spaces dedicated to Child Care Centre users only.

 

STAFF PARKING


Q. Will staff be required to pay for parking?

No, staff parking is free. 

Dedicated staff parking areas will now be allocated in 3 locations as follows: 

  • Current dedicated staff parking location at Docks 1,2,3&7, entry off Restwell Road
  • Nested staff parking on P3 (located stage 2), entry off Town Centre Drive
  • P4 rooftop parking (located stage 2), entry off Town Centre Drive

The current dedicated staff parking area (Docks 1,2,3&7) will have a boom gate operating in conjunction with an LPR system.

Q. If a customer stays in centre for more than 3 hours, where can the customer pay for the ticket?

Pay Machines - 8 machines located at Fresh Food Basement Car Park, Stage 1 P1, P2, Stage 2 P1, P2 and, Basement Car parks and The Promenade (next to Australia Post.
 

Q. If a customer is trying to pay for the ticket at the pay machine but having a difficulty or problem processing the payment, what to do?

Each pay machine is equipped with a “help” button, that will contact the car park office for assistance. After hours, the “help button” will contact the offsite call centre.


Q. What are the payment methods for the parking? Can a customer pay on the way out at the boom gate machine?

Customer can pay with cash or Credit Card at the pay machines, at the boom gates the customer can pay by a credit card only. Customers can also register their licence plate with the payment portal, linking their credit card for auto-payment on exit.


Q. I have noticed a trolley outside the centre, what should a do?

Our neighbours are important to us. Centre Management conducts regular patrols of the external areas of the centre and neighbouring streets to ensure any waste generated by the shopping centre and/or shopping trolleys have been promptly removed.
