Australian Red Cross

Stockland supports Red Cross disaster relief appeals through our Workplace Giving program and the Blood Service through promotion of blood drives. Our retail centres also support food security programs such as Good Start Breakfast Clubs and nutritional education programs such as Food Cents in communities where we operate, to increase the health and well-being of children and their parents in our communities. Mall Walking

Heart Foundation Walking Groups

We work with the Heart Foundation to provide healthy and active living guidance and activities for the communities where we operate. Heart Foundation Walking Groups operate weekly in many of our shopping centres and retirement villages around Australia, providing a great way to connect with other community members and exercise in a safe and welcoming environment.
Stockland Burleigh Heads Walking Group walks on Monday, Wednesday & Friday commencing at 7am from outside Big W. Contact us for more information. To find out more about Heart Foundation Walking Groups visit http://www.heartfoundation.org.au/active-living/walking/walking-groups/Pages/default.aspx

Stockland Inspirations - Work Experience

We work with The Smith Family’s School-Business-Community Partnership Brokers network to offer Stockland Inspirations, a structured work experience program showcasing the skills and employment opportunities in the world of property and retail. The program is based on the principle that education and training for young people is a collective responsibility. Stockland are working to ensure as many young local Australians attain year twelve or equivalent qualifications and are job ready when entering the workforce.
Stockland Burleigh Heads is working with Marymount College and Hillcrest Christian College to achieve this goal.
