The new entry door can be found at the rear of centre and with the available parking and pedestrian access to Burleigh Cove, it is the best entrance for Burleigh Town Medical Centre and Chempro Chemist.
The inspiration behind the turtle -"George"
The Brightsiders' (artists) stylised turtle design was created as a contemporary interpretation of a sea turtle. The design was hand drawn and took reference from techniques used in letter form graffiti. The aim was to create a turtle that appeared realistic but was composed of geometric shapes as opposed to the blending and shading we often use in our figurative works. This was a departure from our most commonly used techniques in public artworks and we are thankful for the opportunity to explore this approach at Stockland Burleigh Heads.

As the name suggests, our foundation is based upon an optimistic world view, seeing the inherent good in people and portraying the beauty of the world.
