Meet Serhan from Boost Juice
- What are the three words that describe your store?
We go by the phrase BOOST LOVE LIFE which essentially translates into LOVING YOUR LIFE! It means we should take care of our bodies, enjoy what we eat/drink and take conscious decisions of our food intake. At BOOST, one can get enormous variety of drinks which are healthier versions of drinks people usually correspond with FUN!
- What do you love the most about your store?
Our Store is unique relative to other retailers around us. Unlike other stores, we are constantly doing something or other. Working here at BOOST is Stimulating! There is always something to do and one enjoys whatever they are doing. We have fun in the store while vibing to the Pop music and interacting with customers. There is always a reason to Smile and if we get lucky, a reason to laugh.
- What products, services or experiences do you offer?
BOOST offers a wide range of drinks and snacking options. Whatever your mood, age group, meal preference you have, we have got you covered!
From protein smoothies, Fresh juices, Breakfast options to chocolate drinks or Coffee lovers, BOOST has a drink for everyone.
Moreover, the fun vibe at the store is what drives customers to our stores. Here, we don't just make drinks, we give people experiences. We believe we have an opportunity to make every customer's day and that is what we strive for with every order we take.
- Do you have a funny story to tell?
Oh there are many!
Like we said, we never have a dull moment at our store. But to utter one, once we had two different customers who ordered completely different drinks,
HOWEVER, they both were named John.
They mistook the drink at Pickup and realised it instantly. Funny thing is they liked the wrong orders and they have become our regular customers who now prefer the same wrong orders that they got. Funny how a single instance can get you discover your favourite BOOST.
- What makes a great Juice Bar?
Experience! Just like our founder JANINE ALLIS believes, people can get drinks from anywhere, they can even make it at home perhaps. However, what makes a Juice Bar or any store offering a service or product DISTINCTIVE is the EXPERIENCE.
A customer might not remember what the drink tasted like but they will remember what mood they left your store with. And we get acknowledgement smiles from our customers when they pass by ;)
Nonetheless, the fresh fruits and consistent taste coupled with consistency of our drinks also makes our customers crave boost.
- How have you coped with COVID-19 and what are you looking forward to?
The pandemic shook the whole world but what kept us going was our constant positive attitude. We took extra measures to maintain the hygiene of our store and follow the government guidelines.
Most of our customers gave us the feedback that during such a gloomy time, it was the vibe of our store and friendly faces of people serving their drinks that made their day.
Moving forward, we hope to continue and in fact improve our services and address our customers concerns, if any, so that they leave with a great experience.
