It’s the calm before the storm, as they say. There’s still time to get things done, but if you’ve followed our checklist, you should have a week to slow down a little bit, and do your final planning before the big day.

Take a breather

Meal plan

By now you’ll probably know how many people you’re catering for or what you’re supposed to make for Christmas Day. Plan out your menu or meal and put together your food list. By organising this early you can also let other’s know if you need them to bring anything or if you need help making anything. Prep time

While it’s not exactly time to get cooking, you can start making anything that’s able to be frozen, stored, or reheated when needed like Miguel’s Sticky Date Cake.
