The day before Christmas

Category: home and DIY

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, the scene was set for the perfect Christmas morning and day.

Shrimp on the barbie

If you’ve pre-ordered fresh seafood for Christmas, today is the day to pick it up. Just make sure you head straight home and put it on ice in the fridge, freezer, or in an Esky if you have one. TIP: if you have spare Esky’s, todays a good day to also stock up on ice in case you can’t get to a store on Christmas.

Pre-set the table

While you may not be able to pre-make the meal itself, setting the Christmas table the night before is an amazing way to avoid unnecessary stress on the day itself. This way, you also get more time to be creative with your tablescape. Let your ideas run wild!

Santa and Dunder's snacks

This can be one of the most exciting things to do as a family! Set out a snack station for your visitors from the North Pole with lamingtons and carrots out for Dunder, and cookies and milk for Santa.
