The Stockland CARE Foundation is a charitable trust set up for the purposes of delivering infrastructure, programs and initiatives that improve the health, wellbeing and education of communities in and around our assets. The Foundation works with our partners to amplify our existing community contributions.
For over 30 years, Redkite has been providing essential support to children and young people with cancer, and their families. Redkite is there through the whole cancer journey, from the moment of diagnosis until after treatment finishes, supporting children, teenagers and young adults (0-24 years) and their families.
Founded in 2006 in memory of Olivia Perkins, Touched by Olivia believe that all children, regardless of ability, can lead healthier and happier lives. Touched by Olivia advocate for an inclusive society, through its national network of inclusive playspaces and social enterprises that provide training and employment for people with disabilities.
In October 2016, Stockland CARE Foundation's annual 'Foundation Fortnight' raised over $250,000 for our charity partners Redkite and Touched by Olivia.
With these funds, 50 families will have access to Redkite cancer support services for one year and Touched by Olivia will be able to assess an additional 80 inclusive playspace sites across Australia.
Thank you to our employees, customers and suppliers for supporting such worthy causes.
