Community Give Back

At Halcyon Communities, it’s not just about life behind the gates. We’re passionate about working with our homeowners to connect with the wider community.

Our homeowners have a long history of philanthropy supporting many different charities and causes through fundraisers and volunteer efforts.  Each year, our homeowners are active and enthusiastic participants in local marathon events, often fielding community teams to raise funds and awareness for many different causes.

From the Cancer Council's Biggest Morning Tea to fundraisers to provide financial assistance for bushfire and flood victims to supporting mental health initiatives and providing funds for our furry friends, our homeowners are dedicated to giving back to the community.

We also support Stockland's CARE Foundation through our Friends of Halcyon Referral Program.

Our homeowners also help worthy community causes through the referral scheme. Under the initiative, homeowners receive $1,500 as well as an additional $500 to donate towards a Stockland CARE Foundation charity partner, if their referred family member or friend buys a home in one of our communities.

Over the years, we have donated more than $1.6 million - with $100,000 of that coming in the past year alone - to charities under the referral program.

As of 1 July, the program will have a small change with the charity donation being made towards a Stockland CARE foundation charity partner; Redkite, RU OK? and ReachOut.

The Stockland CARE Foundation is a charitable trust established to deliver programs and initiatives to improve the lives of people living in or near Stockland communities, will invest more than $1 million and ongoing non-financial support over the next three years, to help support mental health programs in Australian communities.
