The Crazy Bull opens $10 million lifestyle precinct at Halcyon Rise
Celebrity chef and Stockland Food Ambassador Miguel Maestre was a special guest at the opening of the new country-retreat inspired lifestyle facilities at Halcyon Rise.
Following the official ribbon cutting, homeowners from the over 50s lifestyle community were treated to a paella cooking demonstration from the Spanish born chef, also known as the ‘Crazy Bull’.
Mr Maestre said: “I’m so excited to continue working with Stockland and to visit all the wonderful homeowners at Halcyon Communities to share my passion for cooking and the joy of connecting over good food.”
“The homes and facilities at Halcyon Rise are first class and you can tell how impressed the homeowners are with their community.”
The Halcyon Rise Homestead features an array of lifestyle and leisure facilities including a clubhouse, private dining room, gold-class style cinema, heated magnesium salt pool, hair salon and treatment rooms, gym, pickleball courts and a bowling green.
Project Director Mr Chris Carley said the opening of the facilities was a great milestone for the community, which is set on 100 sprawling acres fronting the Logan River.
“Driving everything we do is a deep commitment to delivering an outstanding masterplanned community with quality homes and an abundance of facilities to keep our homeowners active and socially connected,” Mr Carley said.
“As an over 50’s lifestyle community, we’re focused on improving the health and wellness of our homeowners and the new facilities are the perfect way to achieve this,” he said.
“Homeowners will be able to gather to enjoy all of the social, wellness, active and creative spaces which are on offer,” he said.
Inspired by Australia’s finest country retreats, a spirit of adventure and connection to the land, Halcyon Rise offers relaxed country living while still being conveniently located 33km from the Brisbane CBD.
