Discover a lifestyle streets ahead
Prior to its official market launch, Stockland’s newest over 50s lifestyle community, Halcyon Promenade, is already attracting interest from locals and both the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast regions.
Strong pre-launch interest and sales has prompted Stockland to bring forward the second release of homes, which include premium larger sites, some of which are 445m2.
Located in Burpengary East and only a short drive to Moreton Bay, the $260 million development commenced in August last year.
Regional Project Director Chris Carley said he was excited to see the project come to life, which includes a lot of ‘firsts’ for Halcyon Communities.
“What we’re creating will be something very special in terms of expansive facilities, quality homes and a focus on eco-friendly initiatives.”
“Most distinctively, Halcyon Promenade will be developed across both sides of Caulfield Drive, with the two sides of the community connected by a vibrant, pedestrianised main street,” Chris said.
“Halcyon Promenade will also feature our largest lifestyle facilities closest to Brisbane, so the community offers the perfect opportunity for Brisbane buyers looking to downsize.”
“We’re using the same consultants and architects from B by Halcyon, so home buyers can expect the same level of luxury and Stockland’s Halcyon Communities signature quality and masterplanning,” he said.
Halcyon Promenade has embraced the village hub approach to the lifestyle facilities with the leisure and sporting facilities spread throughout the community.
BDA Architecture Director Adam Beck said the separation of facilities was intentional, to create spaces for different uses.
“The facilities have been strategically positioned to create a vibrant and active community where homeowners can mix lifestyle and leisure.”
“Taking inspiration from the location, the design of the facilities will reflect Brisbane’s northern bayside character and bring a coastal element to the semi-rural area,” Adam said.
“The designs will include variations of white battens and textured walls, offset by the natural colour tones of stone and timber. Decorative screening will also be used throughout.”
“As always when working on a Stockland Halcyon Community, we follow a number of design principles to ensure environmental sustainability is a key focus of the development.”
Halcyon Promenade will feature a health club with a 25m heated magnesium salt pool, gym, yoga lawn and art studio; a recreation club and lounge with a private dining area and outdoor kitchen overlooking the resort pool; as well as a 3D golf simulator, pickleball courts and a full size, flood-lit bowling green.
“We’ve been collaborating with FORM Landscape Architects and are excited to see our vision start to take shape.”
“Think of spaces nestled amongst lush landscaping, lined with shaded boulevards and visual landmarks.”
Set across 59-acres of prime northside land, Halcyon Promenade has been carefully designed to complement the natural beauty of the bayside environment.
