Life is better in the cul-de-sac
There is a proverb which says: “Don’t buy the house. Buy the neighbourhood.” Our homeowners know this truth better than anyone.
By making the decision to come to Halcyon, they’ve joined amazing communities full of people filling their next chapter with fun, friendship, adventure and connection.
Whether it’s a street party, health and fitness activities, travelling groups or a chat over a cup of tea – life is certainly better in the ‘cul-de-sac’ of Halcyon.
The bonus is we make pretty amazing houses too!
When we met at a neighbourhood BBQ in Logan more than 15 years ago, we would never have dreamed how far we could take our idea.
We both had a vision of creating active, connected and meaningful communities for people who have worked hard and were ready to enjoy the spoils of that labour.
In 2020, we have seven thriving communities across our home of South East Queensland and we’re excited for two new Halcyon projects.
It’s serendipitous that after 15 years of Halcyon, we’re getting the opportunity to bring our first-class communities to two areas we know and love; Logan Reserve and Buderim.
We have both lived and operated small businesses in Logan for decades. We are proud of the people in Logan – which is arguably one of the most conveniently located areas in the region.
Halcyon Rise will be a magnificent addition to Logan Reserve and will give homeowners acreage-style living without the ride-on!
Joining our three Sunshine Coast communities is B by Halcyon, the first lifestyle community to be built in the foothills of the iconic town of Buderim.
It’s special for Bevan as his parents lived there for 30 years and is a great opportunity to put Halcyon’s unique stamp on the town.
B by Halcyon was officially launched on 29 February, which is the third Sunshine Coast community we’ve launched in a leap year.
While we’re not particularly superstitious, just like 29 February – the communities we create are unique and special, but it is you who helps shape them into the thriving neighbourhoods they become.
