Promenade is streets ahead
Stockland’s newest community designed for over 50s, Halcyon Promenade, is already attracting strong interest from buyers looking to discover a lifestyle streets ahead.
Located in Burpengary East and only six minutes to Moreton Bay, earthworks have recently commenced on the $260 million development.
Regional Project Director, Andrew Astorquia said he was excited to see the project come to life.
“What we’re creating will be something very special in terms of expansive facilities, quality homes and a focus on eco-friendly initiatives.”
“Through thoughtful masterplanning, we’re creating a bayside community with that northside feel; a homage to the quintessential northern Brisbane suburbs.”
“Most distinctively, Halcyon Promenade will be developed across both sides of Caulfield Drive, with the two sides of the community connected by a vibrant, pedestrianised main street,” Andrew said.
“Halcyon Promenade will also feature our largest lifestyle facilities closest to Brisbane, so the community offers the perfect opportunity for buyers looking to downsize while still being close to the city.”
Halcyon Promenade has embraced the village hub approach to the lifestyle facilities with the leisure and sporting facilities spread throughout the community.
BDA Architecture Director, Adam Beck said the separation of facilities was intentional, to create spaces for different uses.
“The facilities have been strategically positioned to create a vibrant and active community where homeowners can mix lifestyle and leisure.”
“Taking inspiration from the location, the design of the facilities will reflect Brisbane’s northern bayside character and bring a coastal element to the semi-rural area,” Adam said.
“The designs will include variations of white battens and textured walls, offset by the natural colour tones of stone and timber. Decorative screening will also be used throughout.”
“As always when working on a Stockland Halcyon Community, we follow a number of design principles to ensure environmental sustainability is a key focus of the development.”
Halcyon Promenade will* feature a health club with a 25m heated magnesium salt pool, gym, yoga lawn and art studio; a recreation club and lounge with a private dining area and outdoor kitchen overlooking the resort pool; as well as a 3D golf simulator, pickleball courts and a full size, flood-lit bowling green.
“We’ve been collaborating with FORM Landscape Architects and are excited to see our vision start to take shape.”
“Think of spaces nestled amongst lush landscaping, lined with shaded boulevards and visual landmarks.”
Set across 59-acres of prime northside land, Halcyon Promenade has been carefully designed to complement the natural beauty of the bayside environment.
